Question: i%E2%80%99m a 58 year old woman with hypertension. i%E2%80%99m taking 50 mg Angisar (Losartan) daily (before breakfast).

I travel overseas frequently on long haul flights.

Please let me know if I should take more of my bp meds on the flight?

Angisar acts for 24 hours, which means that you are covered during the period of flight. Taking an extra dose of Angisar may predispose you to low blood pressure during the flight.

Anyway, in case of anxiety and unpredicted high blood pressure, Captopril 25mg sublingually can helps lower blood pressure as an emergency pill.
