Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have undergone your query and here is my advice.
As per your history, your blood sugar levels may be slightly deranged.
Please let me know do you have symptoms like increased micturition frequency, increased thirst, fatigue?
To rule out diabetes, I would suggest you to do fasting blood sugar and postprandial (after 2 hours) blood sugar level and HbA1c level after endocrinologist's consultation. HbA1c value indicate your mean sugar level and sugar control in last 3 months.
Fasting blood sugar level in between 110 to 126 and postprandial sugar level in between 140 to 200, HbA1c vaue upto 6.4 is considered as impaired glucose tolerance i.e IGT or prediabetes. This value may varies slightly as per the laboratory reference value.
For prediabetes condition, as per my knowledge, you can maintain normal blood sugar levels by following strict diabetic diet and regular exercise. In diet, you should include whole grains, beans, vegetable salad, fruits like apple, pear, berries, orange. Avoid sweets, bakery items, fast food and processed foods. Do regular exercises like brisk walking for 30 mins.
For higher blood sugar level, along with diet and exercise you may require anti diabetic medications after consultation. Along with that I would suggest you to do lipid profile, thyroid profile to rule out other associated metabolic diseases. Try to reduce weight and do regular blood pressure monitoring.
Hope I have answered your query and let me know I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. If possible, kindly upload report image.
As per your history, HbA1c value is 7 and fasting blood sugar is 138 are slightly on higher side. So as per my knowledge, you may require anti-diabetic medications along with strict diabetic diet and exercise though postprandial blood sugar level is normal after diabetologist consultation.
Usually type 2 Diabetes caused due to increased insulin resistance. To check insulin resistance, you can do fasting insulin level after consultation. Many studies shows that obesity increases insulin resistance.
Let me know I can assist you further... Thank you.

Dr Shyam Kale.
