Brief Answer:
Dermoid is suspected and suggested MRI pelvis to confirm
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
There is a well defined rounded bright lesion the right ovary and might suggest a benign lesion and I too feel a likely dermoid cyst of the ovary.
If you want to confirm dermoid like features then a MRI pelvis scan is suggested. There can be other benign lesions containing fat.
Cancer is less likely and follow up is needed.

Thankyou Doctor .
So to confirm the cyst doesn’t look like a cancer or anything malignant? I’m so worried.
They found it in 2019 at 1.5cm big.
I have follow up scans since then and it is still measuring the same . It hasn’t grown . I am pregnant now with second child.
I have had a left ovarian dermoid in the past that grew to 11.8cm . Biopsy confirmed it was a Dermoid cyst and nothing else . Could this be the same ?

Brief Answer:
You might have recurrent ovary dermoid cyst
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.
The cyst does not look malignant in the images. Recurrent lesions of ovary dermoid can be visualised in 4 percent cases and you might have it. A 1.5 cm cyst is small and might not cause any significant problems during pregnancy. Please consult your doctor if there is pain and get follow up scan done as needed.

Brief Answer:
No colour in the lesion suggests benign type
Detailed Answer:
Hi,

The image showing rainbow colours is a Doppler ultrasound scan and the colours are to know blood flow. There is no colour inside the lesion and suggests benign condition. In some cancers there is flow in the lesions.
