Question: i’m taking macrobid and it’s my 6th day of 7. my other symptoms went away like the itching and burning but the smell is still there

Hello and thank you for your question. Hope I can be of help for you today. Urinary Tract Infection can cause bad smell in urine. Combination treatment with antibiotics (Macrobid), you also need to drink a lot of water. Is your urine bad smell the same as before treatment? You should try to drink a lot of water first and it will go away on its own. But if you develop symptoms with burning back you should go to see a doctor.
