so for a person with protienuria more than moderate , the urine will foam no matter how much water you drink? ... even if its not yellow but pale ?
Brief Answer:
Protein in high quantity does case Foamy urine
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for follow up .Protein in urine in high quantity reduces the surface tension of urine which tends to form a foamy urine .However moderate to severe proteinuria will appear milky white .and never clear.
Cleat urine passed in large quantity and with force tends to hit the wall of the commode and water in commode to form a foam .
This has no clinical significance significance at all as long as urine is clear.
Thanks and Regards.
