Incident Of Balance Loss When Getting Out Of Bath; Lowered

Question: incident of balance loss when getting out of bath; Lowered myself again, and the slowly clambered out. A sense of left side of head and upper neck being a bit heavier than the right. OK now, but worried about what this suggests. Have never had this sensation
Brief Answer:
Hypotension episode.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think this situation shows a sudden lowering of blood pressure. During the hot bath vasodilation happens and less blood is pumped by heart and the sudden getting up and out of bath may have caused the loss of balance.
The fact that one side is heavier than other is not much significant just cause of perception.
Taking blood pressure lowering medications can make this event worse.
Just take precautions for other times to get up gradually, seek for support around, and drink lots of fluids and water before bath.
Hope I have answered the question.
