Brief Answer:
Exercising stress test and holter needed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor's service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think you should get further evaluated doing exercising stress test and holter monitoring.
Also electrocardiograme may be needed to check for possible heart pathologies causing the arrhythmia.
It can be atrial fibrillation.
I think you need to use aspirin 100 mg daily and also use sotalol as prescribed by cardiologist.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

This service cut my question off. Thx for answering. I also wanted to say it happened playing tennis in extreme heat. This is second time in a month. My dr. Did ekg and the. I went in a week later for follow up and all was good. I do not go out of rhythm other times. I don’t smoke, haven’t been drinking at all since last time about a month ago. I am not short of breath, no pain anywhere and the irregularity is odd. Not like afib irregularly irregular. It’s more like a revving engine. It beats normally (70 bpm) then speeds up a little to 90/100 bpm for 5-10 beats the back to normal and then it speeds up again and cycle repeats. Possibly an occasional skipped beat; that’s hard to tell. Again, no other symptoms at all. I’m sure my doc will now want to do a stress test and possibly another holter. I had one last year all fine. This does not happen at rest. So far only when I play tennis. So I’ll take you advice but if you had to guess what do you think is going on.

Brief Answer:
You need to do stress test and Holter.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again .
I think a holter is necessary because things may have changed since last year when everything came out normal.
You may need stress test also .
Using aspirin 100 mg is necessary to prevent any blood clots. Even though you don't smoke or drink you need to take aspirin.
Atrial fibrillation is the most probable diagnosis.
