Is It A Neuralgia?

Question: Dear Doctor, Two or three years ago, I suffered from anxiety. When I had an attack, there was something pressing on my chest, and it was difficult to breathe. Later it was recovered. But in recent months it seems to have relapsed due to the stress of life. Every night I fell asleep until about 4 o'clock and woke up suddenly, with rapid heartbeat and chest pain. After waking up to work, my left chest feels like pressure and my left chest muscles also hurt. I want to ask why, is it a neuralgia?

Brief Answer:
? Ischemic heart disease ? Panic attack by stress

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Following is my opinion for your asked question.

It could be some form of ischemic heart disease or stress induced panic attack.

It seems more likely to be stress induced palpitation and muscle pain.

However, organic cause like ischemic heart disease need to be ruled out for which you need to visit cardiologist and EKG or echocardiography should be planned.

Your blood pressure also should be monitored.

If no cardiac cause revealed by cardiologist then don't worry.

For stress induced panic attack, meditation can be done and do regular mild exercise.

Hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Best regards
