Question: is it possible to shrink a wart ?
Brief Answer:
It is possible to shrink a wart
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query.
It is possible to shrink a wart by doing chemical cauterisation.
You need to apply podophyllotoxin resin on the affected areas once a week for 3-4 times in case of genital warts.(Prescription available medicine)
For warts over hands and feet a lotion containing combination of lactic acid and salicylic acid ( salex L lotion) can be applied twice daily for 3-4 weeks.
These will help in reducing the size of wart and can also lead to their dis appearance.
