Question: is there anything that i can take here at home for an ear infection? instead of antibiotics? is garlic oil good for getting rid of ear infections and pain?

I need to know what type of ear infection and in whom? Is it you or a child? And is a "standard" ear infection (called otitis media in latin) or an infection in the outer parts of the ear? Have any bacteria been found.
The "normal" pediatric ear infection can usually be treated with aspirin for a few days and rarely require antibiotics. As an adult, additional NSAID treatment (e.g. ibuprofen) may also be useful.
Garlic oil cannot be recommended for ear infections or pain.
