Hi. Well, these are symptoms suggestive of hiatal hernia. If you have whole CT scan you can post it here or some additional images. However, to confirm the diagnosis, gastroscopy should be done which can visualize other causes of reflux. He should take pantoprasol, avoid coffee, alcohol, carbonated drinks and overeat. He should sleep with elevated upper body and avoid sitting after meal. Wish you good health.
