Brief Answer:
oral antihistamine, topical steroid, oral anti inflammatory

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Itchy sensation to the skin is normally related to an allergic response though there are other causes as well.

Infection (eg fungal, scabies), side effect of medication, eczema, liver, thyroid and kidney disease can all cause itching but with the exception of fungal infection, it would normally be generalized.
Fungal infections are not usually acute (occur gradually and slowly), so this makes this less likely.

This means that it is most likely an allergic response to some substance that came into contact with your hands.
Allergic reactions, depending on the severity, can cause an uncomfortable sensation.

You may want to consider the following: (1) an oral antihistamine eg benadryl, claritine, zyrtec, allegra
(2)mild topical steroid such as hydrocortisone- because it is mild, it is usually available over the counter
(3)oral anti inflammatory to help with the aches and pain eg ibuprofen or naproxen
(4)bicarbonate soaks can help with itching as well

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
