It’s A Relatively High Risk Encounter With A CSW Of Unknown HIV Status?
Question: hello Doctor.
I am a straight man. 2 months back I had a risky encounter with a CSW of unknown HIV status. The encounter was (unprotected genatile rubbing). She was on her stomach and I was on top rubbing. During this she once said (no don’t put it in). I did not feel that I did but as I wasn’t able to see I assume I did. In this case it would be the tip and only for one second or even less. Considering she’s HIV positive and she has high viral load. Also considering the brief (tip vagina penetration for less than 1 second) what is the risk assessment? Is it high ir lower side ? I did some research and understand it’s on lower side but how do you think ? Is it like (oral sex risk) ot it’s a relatively high risk? I can’t get tested now but I will in July and I am loosing my mind. I had no symptoms.

Brief Answer:
The risk of getting HIV in your case is extremely low.
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
You have a risky encounter with an unknown status CSW but for a very short period and that too was just only rubbing of genitals without any penetrative sex so the chances of getting HIV are extremely rare in your exposure even though if your partner was HIV positive with high viral load so you need not to worry at all. As your friend I will also advice you to stay away from such unsafe sexual practices to prevent the future risk of HIV or other STDs. If still there is any doubt in your mind please feel free to ask me any time.
Thank You

Hello Doctor and thank you very much for your support.
Actually there was penetration, this penetration was (penile tip, leas than 1 second) and truly sir I am not exaggerating at all, it was somewhere 1 CM and fir a second or less. Would that change your thought process ?
I really appreciate your advise and trust me I did learn my lesson.

No such exposure will not increase your risk.
Detailed Answer:
Dear Eng.montasser.amer.87,
Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.
The penetration was just the penile tip for less than one second which will not increase risk so just calm down and it is really very good to hear that you learnt the lesson. If still you have any query please feel free to ask me any time and I am always available here to help you out.
