Brief Answer:
Hello, welcome to ask a doctor services.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

You had an ECG done and the report shows longitudinal left axis deviation. You have not mentioned about your past illness or any underlying disease from which you suffer. I can understand your concern.

No, it is not a normal report. It is quite concerning as the commonest cause of LAD is Left anterior fascicular block (LAFB). It is often seen to occur in people without overt cardiac disease.

It may be also indicative of paced rhythm, ventricular ectopy, left ventricular hypertrophy or even left bundle branch block, which is a serious medical condition.

You are advised to get clinically examined by a Cardiologist. Get all routine tests and all cardiac screening tests done. You may be asked by your treating Cardiologist to do imaging tests like CT/MRI, Echo, etc.

Get all tests and investigations done. Get assessed and evaluated at the earliest so that treatment can be started.

Treatment includes lifestyle modification, dietary changes for which you will have to consult a Nutritionist.

For regular exercises, get connected with a Physical therapist. You will have to do exercises under observation.

If obese, you will have to maintain healthy weight. Take homemade food that is properly boiled or take food cooked strictly in olive oil.

Stay away from refined floor, full fat dairy products, red meat, oily fried food. Take only lean meat & small fishes.

Take fruits, berries, veggies and nuts. Do regular walking. Avoid sedentary lifestyle. Avoid taking packaged or processed food.

Stay away from smoking, alcohol, addictions if any.

If diabetic, control your blood sugar level at all costs. If hypertensive stay away from anxiety and stress (both physical and emotional).

You will be given medications such as ACE inhibitors, beta-blockers, or calcium channel blockers if hypertensive and also other required cardiac medications. Your treatment will depend on the disease diagnosed.

Surgery is recommended only when there is no improvement after giving conservative treatment. Get treated. Neglect will result in the worsening of the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your question. In case you have any more questions, you can ask me. Take care.
