Looks like impetigo again
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I'm Dr. Branch,
Thanks for using 'Ask A Doctor' service.
The picture is a little unclear, but from what I can see and the history, this would be consistent with impetigo again. It does not look like it is too extensive, so antibiotic ointment (mupirocin) might be able to be used, or your doctor may want to give oral antibiotics again, but unfortunately, both are prescription and we cannot prescribe medications from this website, so she will need to see her doctor.
I'm not sure I can explain why she keeps getting impetigo. If she is around other children, it is contagious, and it may be another child has spread it to her. But impetigo is not uncommon in children and I wouldn't be too concerned about it, especially since the last episode was several months ago.
I hope that helps, please let me know if you have any questions, I would be glad to discuss it with you further.
Regards
