Question: my asthma symptoms are worsening a little. I can still exercise vigorously but am winded a little. when I take my rescue inhalers it is better but my peak flow readings only increase by about 40 to 100 points. does it sound like I am developing COPD?

Brief Answer:
Use nebuliser with CLENIL C for some days

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome in Ask the Doctor

I can understand your concern

However according to the situation you prescribe no I don't think you are going to COPD.
Probably you have a viral condition in which it is common that asthma gets worse or if you have any allergies and it may also worsen the asthma.

You should use in such situation a nebuliser with CLENIL C for 4-5 days which will help you more.
Once you feel better you can stop it and return to your inhaler again.

Hope to have been helpful

Hi again

If you will have achronic cough and breathlessness and a spirometry testing of a persisting obstruction after a bronchodilator usage than you have COPD.
