Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for asking on this platform
I have gone through the query and do understand your concern.
Fever with vomiting can be due to viral infection or environmental fever(due to warm weather).
Sometimes fever and vomiting may be the initial symptoms and child may later develop loose motion.
Here I would suggest you to give ondensetron 2 mg for vomiting and paracetamol 500 mg (considering his weight around 30-35 kg) for fever. Give ranitidine (an acid reducing agent) 75 mg to take care of associated gastritis if any.
Ondensetron and ranitidine can be given twice a day for 2-3 days and paracetamol if fever is there.
Give plenty of fluids to avoid any dehydration. Fluids also help in controlling temperature.
If you find that vomiting is persisting even after giving medication or any other associated symptoms like persistent high grade fever or loose motion please consult with your doctor.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
