Brief Answer:
Prolonged video EEG monitoring

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com
I am Dr.Ajay Panwar, a neurologist, here to answer your query.

What you have described clinically, indeed looks like seizure episodes. In such situations, prolonged video EEG monitoring can help to establish the diagnosis. Also, a brain imaging (MRI Brain) may help in diagnosis.

Hope that helps. If you have any further queries, I shall be glad to answer them. Please follow up after investigations.

Yes I believe that ,but she has an eeg done and caught no signs on her. The strobe lights are doing testing on her but it is not bringing it out stronger. She twitches and then it stops. MRI was done the doctors states nothing showed.

Brief Answer:
Antiepileptic medicines may be started.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up.

A short duration EEG may not have shown anything but a prolonged duration(for 24 hrs or more) video EEG may help in diagnosing. Anyway, even if MRI Brain and EEG are not significant but the clinical diagnosis is epilepsy, antiepileptic medicines may be started. Your daughter's treating neurologists might tell you the same.

Hope that helps. If you have any further questions, I shall be glad to have you in follow-up.

Regards,

Dr.Ajay Panwar,
