My Due Date Was Estimated Wrong. I Am 22 Weeks.

Question: my due date was estimated wrong. I am 22 weeks. I have been using meth heavily up until about 18 weeks. I stopped an started again but at 21 weeks I stopped up until today. which is my 22 week mark. I am desperately trying to stay clean with no luck. My question is will meth be detected in baby's meconium or cord from drug use at 22 weeks or is it possible to not be detected if drug use stops today at my 22 week mark?
Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be detected
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Meconium starts to develop in the second trimester. Methamphetamine can be detected in the meconium or hair follicles of the newborn only if it is consumed towards the end of the pregnancy.
In your case the probability of a positive result in very very unlikely.
Thanks

Thank you. My next question is how can I stay in recovery from methamphetamine. I want to stay sober so badly but once I get to the second week the craving and thought of it so bad I can't seem to get past more than a couple weeks clean. Any recommendations? Thank you.

Counselling sessions may be required
Detailed Answer:
