Brief Answer:
Could be arthritis of the shoulder or rotator cuff muscles degeneration
Detailed Answer:
Hi there
Thanks for the query
Does he have Diabetes?
This could be arthritis of the shoulder or rotator cuff muscles degeneration of the shoulder due to age.
I would advise for physiotherapy to strengthen shoulder muscles, application of warm packs. He can take Paracetamol 650mg three times a day for 5 days if no liver problem.
Best to get an xray of the shoulder to confirm the diagnosis.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
