Brief Answer:
D dimer is non specific
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
D dimer is often used to diagnose thrombosis or blood clots in veins. Elevated d dimer raises the probability of having thrombosis.
But d dimer is very non specific and can get raised in various conditions other than thrombosis, like cancer, sepsis, inflammation, liver diseases, and many more.
Hence just this d dimer value does not mean anything specific. But a doppler study of leg veins should be done to rule out leg vein thrombosis.
Hope this helps.
Regards

Brief Answer:
D dimer is coming down
Detailed Answer:
As d dimer is coming down, not to worry. But her lymphocyte count is relatively high. So possibility of viral infection is there. Her hemoglobin is also on higher side, which may be because of sleep apnea. Needs monitoring of CBC every few weeks.
