Brief Answer:
Calpol is enough

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
Welcome to Ask A Doctor service
I have gone through your query and understand your concern

If he do not have any other symptoms and is otherwise playful and taking feeds, we need not worry. This is probably an acute viral illness. Just continue giving Calpol(4ml if he is 13-14 kg weight) every 6-8 hours for next 48-72 hours. Give enough fluids and a soft diet. He will be fine in a couple of days.

If fever persists beyond 3 days, fresh symptoms appear, or if he becomes dull and refuses to feed, we can evaluate further

I hope this answer will help
