Question: my wife has an onset speech impediment.....we went to the ER...had a CAT scan....everything normal. all other neurological functions are normal. However, she is having a hard time with certain words.....when she says Thank you, the right side of her mouth droops and she said her chin feels tight.

Hii. Please consult an ent surgeon and a speech therapist. Get speech therapy done and see whether there is any abnormality of speech articulation. Check all her cranial nerves by specialist. Get an endoscopy of larynx done. Give speech therapy if there is difficulty of articulation of speech.
