Since you have mentioned that everything is fine, I think that sleeplessness maybe due to over-activity of intellect especially before sleeping. Raised BP may also be there.
Sleep hygiene should be followed. Donot work or watch tv for atleast 2-3 hours before sleeping. Get BP measured.

Thank you very much for your answer, doctor. My bp is fine, I had it measured very recently. I have read articles suggesting that when my sleep is interrupted (around 4am everyday), I should just wake up and meditate or stretch. It is advisable? Especially since I go to office during the day and cannot catch up on my sleep? I have recently been losing lots of hair. Would it be related?

No, if your sleep is interrupted, then go bac k to sleep again until its atleast 6-8 hrs of sleep. This much sleep is needed to work optimally during the day. People who meditate, wake up earlier than others so that their meditation is not disturbed.
Hairfall could be due to some indigestion, dandruff, male hormone, thyroid problem related etc. It usually is not related to sleeplessness. Stress and thyroid are two problems that cause cause sleeplessness and hairfall.
