Question: occasional colored zigzag lines in vision - lasts 1/2 hr, Starts top left, drifts down then disappears usually appears after trip to Sams Club or Costco, has only happened 3 times over the last few months.

hey thanks for the questions . These are called floaters and are commonly seen due to vitreous which is the gel inside the eye undergoing liquefaction . This is majorly a benign process but in very very rare cases it can cause a formation of a hole in the retina which is the neural layer of the eye and lead to its detachment .
