Brief Answer:
It is due to reactive hypoglycaemia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
High carbohydrate diet especially junk foods can makes you lethargic and sleepy.
The most possible explanation for this phenomenon is reactive hypoglycaemia, when you take excess carbohydrates in a stretch, there will be increased production of insulin from the pancreas, which in turn causes hypoglycaemia(low blood sugar) and you will feel the symptoms as described.
Moreover, after a binge eating, there will be increased blood flow to the gut and which inturn cause slight fall in blood pressure and which can make you dizzy.
Hope I have answered your query.
