On Friday Of Ladt Week, I Had Sharp Pains Along

Question: on Friday of ladt week, I had sharp pains along with constant pain in my lower abdomen where my ovaries would beif I hadnt had a hydterectomy 30 years ago. The pain worsened so I went to urgent care and saw a nurse practioner. Without examining me, she said I have diverticulitis. She gave me a shot of toreadol and a prescription for ciprofloxin 500 mg. to take twice a day.
I am in more pain today. most of the pain is now on the right and radiates to my lower back and in my upper abdomen. no other symptoms

It can be recurrent diverticulitis.

Recurrence of acute diverticulitis is very common.

I suggest to do a stool test,a urine test and a an abdominal ultrasound to help through the diagnosis

I also suggest using Buscopan 10 mg three tablets a day to relieve the pain.
