Question: pain in left leg just below hip area side of upper thigh
never got a responce
Brief Answer:
consult to spine surgeon, required further evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
As per your history, it may be due to muscle sprain or nerve compression at lumbar spine level.
Still please let me know do you have history of injury/trauma to back, numbness or tingling sensation over thigh?
For further assessment, I would suggest you to consult with spine surgeon for detailed clinical evaluation. He may procure MRI back with whole spine screening, nerve conduction studies, blood sugar level, vit. B12 level to rule out peripheral neuropathy as per evaluation.
Meanwhile, for pain continue tab. motrin. Apply diclofenac gel locally. Gentle application of heating pads will also help. Further treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. Avoid forward bending/squatting position.
Hope I have answered your query.
