As explained below.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask A Doctor"
I have gone through the details. Your description looks like you are having tailbone pain. Please confirm.
Tailbone pain goes away on its own with symptomatic treatment most of the times. You may want to get an Xray to rule out a fracture.
For tailbone pain, I suggest you sit in a sitz bath which is a tub with lukewarm water for 20 minutes twice daily.
At all other times, it is advised to use a horseshoe-shaped or doughnut-shaped cushion to sit everywhere.
For pain, you can take these medicines: Tab. Etoricoxib 90 mg in the morning and a combination tablet of Aceclofenac 100 mg + paracetamol 325 mg at night after dinner for 5 days.
In case your symptoms still persist it is best to visit an orthopedician for a detailed examination and treatment.
I hope this helps. Please feel free to discuss further.
Regards,

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
By using the horseshoe/donut-shaped cushion the pressure on your tailbone will reduce. You must always sit on the cushion, be it in your house, work or traveling. Continuous sitting is also not adviced. You can go for a short walk every 1 hour or as and when you begin to feel pain.
Usually, with the cushion and medicine, your pain will subside. But you need to continue using the cushion for 3 to 4 months.
I hope this answered your query. Please feel free to discuss further if you have any query.
