Painful Ejaculation Pain In Penis Sometimes Sharp Pain . Swollen
Question: painful ejaculation pain in penis sometimes sharp pain. swollen scrotum and discomfort in abdomen. been a few days since started g got worse last night when putting on pants. I made an appointment for tomorrow should I get urgent care today?
Brief Answer:
Detailed instructions on when to go to ER
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
It is great you set an appointment tomorrow.
If the pain is on one side and is severe and not responding to pain killers and local compresses, you will need to go today for the consultation in the ER to rule out testicular torsion (this would be urgent to save the testicle).
If the pain is more difuse and not so severe, and if painkillers and cold compresses help with it then waiting till tomorrow is OK.
Any worsening, even though you use painkillers and cold compresses, you will need to go to ER.
I hope this answers your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj
