Brief Answer:
possible infection below foreskin or glans.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor services.
I have read your query and here is my advise.

* As per my surgical experience, the yellow discharge from penis in a person with foley
catheter can be from infection below foreskin or glans which can be possible without
fever.

Kindly provide me further details so that I can answer your query completely.

1. Is urine drained in urine bag is clear and does not contain any suspicious discharge ?
2. Discharge from penis is draining outside the catheter from tip of penis ?
Any noticeable redness at tip of penis ?
3. When the catheter was changed at last ?
4. Any history of systemic illness as diabetes or else ?

Awaiting for your response.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
general nursing care plays vital part of recovery.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for the details.

* With the further information, it is seemingly smegma material causing white discharge
per urethra most likely.

My guidelines for better recovery

- Daily retraction of foreskin with cleansing by antiseptic liquid thoroughly 2 times a day
to avoid smegma collection and discharge.
- Maintain hydration with plenty of liquids.
- Control of blood sugar to prevent secondary bacterial infection.
- Polymycin cream application 3-4 times a day to cover possible skin bugs.

* Follow up after 2 days or early as per the need.

Wish him best health ahead.
Regards.
