Question: results from recent blood test and bi lateral ultrasound. FINDINGs: Axillary lymph nodes bilatrally are prominent is size with mild area of thickning of the cortex. Themaintain a normal lymph noe apperance In the right ailla there is a 2.1x1.5lo,9cm node and a 1.4x.9x.1cm. Lymph node ae in the left axilla there is a 2.3x1.8.1cm lymph node and a 1.9x14x0.6cm. Cortesrange from 3mm up to 4.5mm.

White blood cell count :11.4
Lymphocites: 6500

You have not mentioned your symptoms, if any.

These nodes appear quite normal in character, even though they are mildly enlarged. Many a times, normal nodes of these sizes are found in normal individuals.

WBC count is slightly elevated with elevated lymphocytes. This can be a result of recent viral infections. We need to look at the peripheral blood smear exam and see if these lymphocytes are normal or abnormal. If normal appearing, we can followup with another blood count in 4 weeks. If abnormal we should go for flow cytometry analysis of blood.

Overall, I think there is nothing to be too concerned right now.
