Several Weeks Ago I Had A Raw Throat, Dry Mouth
Question: several weeks ago i had a raw throat, dry mouth and issues with sleep due to these issues. i received a script for antibiotics and saline solution. currently my health issue centers around a constant sensation of either gagging or having a sensation of needing to throw up. increased fluid intake and eating are both temp fixes as well as the netti pot use. condition is affecting my sleep

Hii. Please consult an Ent surgeon. If needed you need to have an endoscopy of the larynx and nose and x ray paranasal sinus. You should be examined whether you have any nose obstruction for which you care having disturbed sleep. It will also help you to look at your airway whether there is any obstruction present or not. You may need to start any nasal spray depending upon the surgeon and your clinical findings. It may be allergic rhinitis and pharyngitis for which you are having dry cough, disturbed sleep.
