Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I understand your concern and would explain that your symptoms could be related to gastritis (the burning sensation inside the ribs and the upset stomach).

For this reason, I recommend trying an antiacid or PPI (omeprazole, pantoprazole, etc.).

Regarding the blood pressure fluctuations, it is important checking your thyroid hormone levels, your blood electrolytes, your kidney and liver function tests, in order to exclude some metabolic disorders that can lead to this situation.

From the other hand, anxiety, caffeine intake and increased salt intake can lead to blood pressure fluctuations too.

For this reason, I recommend avoiding caffeine and salt intake and try to have some rest.

Regarding the shortness of breath, it could be just anxiety. Nevertheless, if all the above tests result normal, I would recommend checking pulmonary function tests, in order to exclude a possible lung disorder like asthma.

Hope you will find this information helpful!

I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!

Kind regards,
