Hello and welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You should know that if a person has passed the chicken pox before in childhood there is no risk to get it again ( even if you are 61 years old).
As well there is no need to get a titer of antibodies if you are sure that have had the chicken pox before.
Usually, it is recommended to get a shingles vaccine for people more than 50 years old to protect them to get shingles (Herpes Zoster).
Hope I have answered your query.
