Sir 2 Weeks Back I Have Protected Sex. Yesterday I

Yes...Possible if it came in contact with the saliva of an infected partner.
Detailed Answer:
Hi there,
Thanks for the question. I understand your concern.
HIV transmission needs direct sexual l contact.
The protected sex excludes general contact as the cause of transmission.
- HIV PCR RNA test. has 99%accurate results in 7-10
days of exposure
-presence of a wound on the face can alter test result, if
the wounded part of the face was kissed/licked by infected
the person during sexual activity.
* So in case, the wounded part of face had been kissed by the infected person(&infected saliva came in contact with open wound... you can have +ve test. This will confirm
99%possibility of HIV.&you should start with treatment.
I hope that helps. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thank you.

Whether this also effects test results
Again a closed wound can not transmit HIV virus..So the test can not be +ve
Detailed Answer:
Hi Babaji babu,
Thanks for the follow up query.
Wound means a lesion on skin which creates gap in continuity of skin... this can carry the HIV virus in the body passing in from injured skin.
But if you mean bump on skin with pus collection inside....there are two possibilities-
-There can be a strong hit on skin, causing blood collection but skin remains intact. After few days there is ingoa.mation &pus formation , with skin is unbroken
.* If the sex is there. in such condition...there is no possibility of HIV transmission .
- Another possibility is an open wound with secondary infection causing an abscess.(which has not yet ruptured)
*Here the skin damage was already there, so possibility of HIV transmission remains.
-Third possibility of HIV transmission due to unprotected sex some other time.
In case of confusion repeat test/HIV specific antibody test is advisable...as per recommendation of the specialist.
Thanks.

Doctor I have no wound at all at the time intercourse. I don’t know how it is positive with protected sex
Rare possibility of false -ve.Details given below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Can ajunahi,
Thanks for the follow up query.
PCI rna qualitative test for HIV measures DNA of HIV virus in blood...it is less likely to be false -ve. when done after 2 weeks of exposure. But a rare possibility of error in reporting would be , if there is just viremia &virus has not yet invaded body.
In case of doubt the same test can be repeated...to get a confirmed result.
In case it still stands positive the Western blot test done after window period of 3 months would give a confirmed result.
Hope that helps.Any more query is welcome.
Thanks.
