Regarding sweat odor
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have gone through your query and noted your concern.
Axilla has a lot of apocrine sweat glands. The sweat they secret is high in proteins and fatty acids which though odorless when secreted is subsequently acted on by bacteria present in axilla which produces odor forming byproducts. You may use a deodorant, if that helps. Deodorants contain antiperspirant ingredients which decrease sweat secretion. If that alone doesn't help you may try aluminium chloride hexahydrate 20% lotion which is available as Aldry lotion or Noswet lotion( as well as roll on) Use it once daily. It blocks sweat ducts or causes there denaturation thereby not allowing sweat to be secreted on to the skin for bacterial action. Besides, aluminium chloride hexahydrate is antibacterial as well, so it helps reduce bacterial growth. You must also take some general measures like regular shaving of axillary hairs as well as bathing twice daily.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
