Small Almost Invisible White Bugs I Think All Over Body

Question: Brief Answer:
Permethrin
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
You can apply Permethrin or Lindane (gamma-HCH) based shampoo or lotion available at your pharmacy over the counter.
Its better to apply it over whole body (excluding face and mouth), keep it overnight or atleast 4-6 hours and then rinse it off nicely with clean water. Also wash your bedsheets and clothes at same time.
Ivermectin cream is also effective for such mites. Check if its available over-the-counter.
Take tablet Albendazole 400 mg stat for routine de-worming. It does not have side effects. Get a prescription from your doctor.
Most important is to look for its source. If its in drinking water then you will need to drink water with low TDS.
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

What kind of Mite eats away at your fat since the last time I talked to you I've lost 3 pounds and it's all fat
Brief Answer:
No such mite exists?
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
I consulted a microbiologist friend about any such mite, and she says that no such mite is mentioned in our books. If such a mite is there, then it will be helpful in managing obesity and would be an interesting topic for research. However we can put your fat tissue under microscope and check. You can visit a microbiology department in a local medical university and request them for such an examination.
In my opinion, many mites would like to live in adipose tissue but they will still feed on blood. Your fatty tissue will be disappearing due to their locally released toxins or due to depletion of nutrients from body.
If we use topical agents like shampoo etc, they will not penetrate below skin and will not have action. Moreover if they are used repeatedly they can damage normal skin. But if you really insist then permethrin based shampoo can be used.
Body soap containing neem oil or tea tree oil may show some effect.
Its basic treatment will be to eliminate its source.
