Small White Spot Or Lump On The Underside Of My Tongue
Question: Since I wrote last I found a very small white spot or bump not a sore or lump on the underside of my tongue. There is soreness if I push on it.
It’s been there for about a week unchanged.
What do you think?

Brief Answer:
Minor inflammation, should resolve soon.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
1. If you can share a few clear, close-up images, it will help in diagnosing the small white spot on the underside of the tongue.
2. If you have had a recent viral or bacterial infection, it may be just minor inflammation or it may be due to side effects of recent medication. Minor trauma while brushing can also lead to this.
3. From your description, this seems to be a minor inflammation, and it should resolve soon.
4. A local oral paste, medicated gargles, and careful observation should be all that is required.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.
