So I Have What Feels Like A Bruise On The
Question: so I have what feels like a bruise on the left backside of my head, just bellow my ear. but it's been there for about 4 days now. I don't usually bruise nevermind on the back of my head. I do have TMJ and it's been flaring up a lot lately when I try to go to bed. I don't know if the pain in my jaw is connected and I should be concerned? please and thank you!

I figured as much. no rash or anything like that. skin is tender though. it might be due to my chipped tooth, some infection might of formed, it is on my left side. I know that would also kind of explain the jaw pain but would a tooth infection cause the "bruising" on my head?

* Usually tooth infection or jaw pain can cause bruise below ear as the
draining lymph node territory of the area is post auricular ( behind ear )
lymph region.
* My guidelines at present
- Salt water gargles added peppermint oil three times a day.
I do not think need of antibiotics at this stage, which may be decision on
time as per the issue progress or regress.
- Control of blood sugar.
- Avoid food items to be chewed with more difficulty.
- Follow up discussion as per the progress after 2 days or early as per the
need.
