The two most common causes of upper abdominal pain are peptic ulcer disease and acute pancreatitis.
Pancreatitis causes continuous type of pain.
So the most likely cause of your pain is peptic ulcer disease.
You can take Omeprazole for relief.
If it does not provide relief, you may have to undergo tests like ultrasound scan.
