Brief Answer:
Yes, could be connected to dental problems
Detailed Answer:
HI,
Thanks for your query.
It is common for the blood supply to be increased due to blood vessel dilatation in the parts where there is any sort of infection.
This happens as a response by the body to fight and remove the infection out.
I believe the sensation you are feeling could be due to vasodilation in the parts near the dentition.
Hope, I answered your query.
Wish you good health.
Regards,

could it be any symptoms of high blood pressure/hypertension? I dont think one infected tooth could be the cause of so much pressure in head. also, the pressure does not come while eating or consuming hot stuff, so I'm apprehensive that tooth is the issue

no giddiness as such, never had a blackout. rarely, the pressure causes feeling of light-headedness but that has occured only 2-3 times so far. pressure in head is mostly constant, not pulsatile. not sure what is hypertensive, but never had any tension symptoms. does sinus cause throbbing blood flow sounds in ear? more than head pressure, I'm worried about the pulsing ear sounds that accompany it. feels like I can head my veins pumping through my ear.

Brief Answer:
I still consider it to be dental
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Based on the description provided I still suspect the dental problem to be the culprit.
Also do get your BP checked.
Sinusitis may not present this way.
