Hi...
Welcome to 'Ask a Doctor' service.
I am Dr Ajeet XXXXXXX
I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
Propranolol is a beta-blocker drug which is used to reduce blood pressure in patients of hypertension and reduce heart rate in patients of arrhythmias.
An overdose of propranolol can slow down the heart rate too much and may cause shortness of breath.
Slowing down the heart rate too much can ultimately stop the heart.
The amount of propranolol that can lead to an overdose varies from person to person and is not very specific.
Hope that I have answered your query.
If you have any doubts, please let me know.
Stay healthy and stay blessed.

the variation from person to person depends on what?
if I tell you some of these factors such as gender, weight age and would it be possible to guess that what would happen after the overdose?
(female , 24, no renal problems, 90 kg, smoking but not regularly)
and one more thing , if this overdose doesn not lead to death? what will happen?what are the consequences?

Brief Answer:
PROPRANOLOL OVERDOSE
Detailed Answer:
Hi.....
It would lead to decrease in the heart rate, fall in blood pressure, light headedness, perspiration and shortness of breath.
Due to a decrease in pulse rate and BP ,there would be a decrease in peripheral perfusion thus causing hypoxic damage to brain and other vital organs.
As I told you,it is not possible to pinpoint the ultimate outcome and the dose at which death occurs.
Regards.
