Brief Answer:
Red spot in the Tympanic membrane may be due to any inflammation

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The red spot in the Tympanic membrane may be due to any inflammation or infection. Is there any discharge from the ear? The bone conduction is better that means there is some conductive hearing loss in that ear. As the normal conductive mechanism in that ear is slightly poor so bone conduction test is better in that ear. The inflammation may be due to infection in the middle part of ear. It may be acute otitis media l, chronic otitis media or simple inflammation without infection.

You can start antibiotic augmentin tablet, antiallergic antihistamineic tablet. You can use ciplox ear drop to decrease the inflammation over tympanic membrane. Take nasal decongestant drop nasivion and steam inhalation. Please review after 1 week.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
