If you are having acute tonsillitis with symptoms like throat pain,sore throat, difficulty in swallowing,pain while swallowing,fever then start with betadine gargle alternate with warm saline gargle. If there is any fever give throat swab for culture and sensitivity. If you having weight more than 40 kg then start tablet augmentin 1 gm twice daily for 1 week this medicine needs prescription by a local physician. Please review if you have any queries.
