What Does It Mean If My RBC Is High
Question: what does it mean if my RBC is high
attached is the results
Brief Answer:
Indicates low oxygen content of blood.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Witkop,
Thanks for the query.
I understand your concern.
High RBC count is a body response to conditions where the oxygen-carrying capacity of RBCs is lessened. In case it occurs.. one needs to find the cause &get specific treatment to combat the cause. with a physician's guidance.
The causes include heart disease,(acquired or congenital hemoglobinopathies) or failure /lung disease ( chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases like asthma/damage to lung tissue to cause scarring, smoking)/high altitude with low atmospheric oxygen/sleep apnea.
I hope that answers your query. Any follow up query is welcome.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Detailed answer below.
Detailed Answer:
Hi Witkop,
Thanks for the follow up query. Sorry for not commenting on your blood report.
I have seen it... &everything else is within normal limits ,except RBC A (an adult type of RBC) is raied only to slight extent...not to be worried if you have no signs like bleeding gums any time
Even if you do not smoke,do not stay at high altitude ... though not to be very much concerned of... I would suggest a complete health check up including heart, respiratory system to exclude any possibility of aliment causing the problem... which could be beginning of a major aliment later on.
I hope that satisfies you. Any other follow up query is welcome.
Thank you
