What Does It Mean If The Inside Of My Anus

Question: what does it mean if the inside of my anus (near the outside) is itchy?
Brief Answer:
Pinworms or candida possible
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think the main cause of the itching is pinworms.
You may need to do a stool sample to check for parasites.
The treatment consists on antiparasitic drugs ( vermox).
Also candida, yeast infection can cause itching. If you have recently used antibiotics it may cause candida infection.
Doing a stool candida examination may determine it.
Antifungal drugs like fluconazole may help you.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Brief Answer:
Shigella possible
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking.
Having mucus and bloody diarrhea could be a sign of Shigella.
Probably you have shigella infection.
Being well hydrated is necessary.
If you're able to drink, then keep drinking plenty of electrolyte solution. If diarrhea is persisting, you should go to the ER for rehydration and possibly antibiotics treatment. Stool test may confirm shigella.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
