What Does It Mean To Say 13 Mm Of Anterolisthesis?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Anterior slipping of vertebra L5 over S1.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Anterolisthesis means slipping of vertebra anteriorly. Your L5 vertebra has slipped over the S1 vertebra by 13 mm. This can happen due to aging, arthritis or thinning of the disc. This can cause a chronic pain and a nerve compression causing paresthesias and weakness in the legs. This needs a surgical treatment. Steroid injections only reduce the inflammation but do not stop the slipping of the vertebra. Physical therapy can help to some extent.
I hope this answers your query.
