Brief Answer:
Regarding dermographism and mast cell activation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have viewed your query and here is my advice.

The end result of both Dermagraphism and Mast cell activation syndrome is the same i.e release of histamine which is the primary mediator of the allergy symptoms that the patient experiences - red welts, itching etc. However, the trigger is different for each - it is a physical stimulus for Dermagraphism e.g rubbing or scratching or tight clothing etc, it is usually an allergen in allergic mast cell activation syndrome.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
