Posted on Thu, 27 Jun 2024
Question: Hi ,
I am 29 years old male .
I had close contact with one girl on 29 april 2023 , and i doubt she is having sex with many guys . Probably she may have std/hiv .

Details of event happend :-
a) I wore a condom and didn't penetrated inside her vagina .
b)Only body contact was there . She put my 'condom covered penis tip' in her mouth for 5-7 seconds only .
c) after that i pull out my penis and saw my condom is unbroken ( as far as i can remember , but I can't say it with 100% guarantee )
d) after that i rubbed on her stomach and ejaculated but what i see is my condom is broken and sperm is coming out (I was stunned , this point really made me worried) . I really don't know when my condom got broken .
e) I asked her was my condom broken when she kept my penis in her mouth , she said no , but I cant believe on her .
f) I have some peeling out skin on penis since last 6 years i.e. 2016 (as per picture )

Now i am so much worried of STDs/Hiv and STIs .

Questions :-
1) can i get stds/stis/ hiv by above means .
2) what should i do further .
3) what tests can be conclusive at 35 days ?
4) can i loose my life due to this , what could be some serious things ? I am so much worried and depressed . I feel very bad all the day .

Brief Answer:
Your STI/HIV risk is negligible.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
I can understand that you had been mentally disturbed a lot. But your situation is not that bad.
You had no vaginal penetration. You wore condom. Oral sex carries a very low risk for STIs/HIV, that to protected with condom,,,,, The risk is almost nil.
Within 5-7 seconds (as you had mentioned) there would not be much action either with her tongue or teeth, so the chances of condom tear is a remote possibility.
Rubbing against her abdomen or body has no risk for STI/HIV. Rubbing against her body till you get an ejaculation could be a cause for condom break. That has no risk for STI/HIV.
STI/HIV are treatable. Not a life threatening one.
Syphilis can be ruled out a month after the contact. HIV DNA PCR for HIV 1 and Qualitative RNA PCR for HIV 2 also can rule out HIV 1 and 2 by this time. If you don't have any other symptoms, tests for other STIs are not necessary. You can check for Hepatitis B and C after 3-4 months.

You are having balanitis (Picture shown), persist for 6 years? It has to be treated. Consult a good Dermato-venereologist nearby and get well soon.
You had not mentioned your marital status?
Relax, nothing serious, not to worry.

Brief Answer:
Both STI/HIV may remain symptomless for years

Detailed Answer:
Hi Welcome back.
Human saliva contains an enzyme called lysozyme which is inimical to HIV. So transmission of HIV through oral route is remote possibility unless there was an open wound or inflammation in side the oral cavity.
Possibility of genital psoriasis is there. But in psoriasis there is no indication for clotrimazole. Beclomethasone alone can be used along with some supportive drugs. As per norms online prescription of drugs is not allowed or accepted.
When there is doubt about STI/HIV, it is always better to rule out with appropriate tests which will give trust and confidence than with words and relieves unnecessary mental tensions..
STI Symptoms are genital sore, discharge and swelling over genitals and groin. HIV may remain symptomless up to 7- 10 years.
STI panels are a battery of tests for various STIs. Tariff is variable with labs and you have to enquire with labs.

Brief Answer:
Y our STI/ HIV risk is negligible

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
Psoriasis usually manifested at multiple sites including scalp. Rarely it remains as isolated lesions as in your case.
If you had completed the DNA PCR for HIV 1 and Qualitative RNA PCR for HIV 2 along STD panel, you need not repeat these tests after three months. all the results will become nonreactive or negative for you with these activities.
